Tyrese Maxey shot 8-of-15 from the field and 6-of-7 from the foul line in the Sixers 137-125 win over the Spurs, scoring 25 points with three rebounds, four assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes.

After scoring 31 points on 10-of-31 shooting in games against the Nuggets and Magic (twice), Maxey got back on track Friday night.

Since moving to the bench on January 15, Maxey is averaging 18.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.7 steals, and 2.1 3-pointers per game, shooting 46.0% from the field and 84.6% from the foul line.

De’Anthony Melton, who replaced Maxey in the starting lineup at that point, finished Friday’s win with 13 points, one rebound, one assist, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 22 minutes.

The Sixers bench totaled 67 points, a huge upgrade over last season.
