The Knicks and Sixers finished in the bottom three of the NBA with their terrible records, which means they’ll get great odds when the ping-pong balls decide the 2015 NBA Draft order. Either team could be in line to draft Duke’s Jahlil Okafor (photo above) or New Jersey native Karl-Anthony Towns.
Here’s the full list of the order and their odds at getting the No. 1 pick:
Timberwolves (25.0 percent)
Knicks (19.9 percent)
Sixers (15.6 percent)
Lakers (11.9 percent)
Magic (8.8 percent)
Kings (6.3 percent)
Nuggets (4.3 percent)
Pistons (2.8 percent)
Hornets (1.7 percent)
Heat (1.1 percent)
Jazz (0.7 percent)
Pacers (0.7 percent)
Suns (0.6 percent)
Thunder (0.5 percent)
More important for the Sixers: If the Lakers don’t get a top-five selection, their pick goes to Philly. If the Heat don’t get something in the top 10, they hand their selection to the Sixers as well.
Stay tuned for May 19!
