Ben Simmons played 32 minutes in the Nets loss to the 76ers, with for 11 points (4-of-7 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, 11 assists, three steals, and three blocked shots.
Playing in front of the Philadelphia faithful for the first time since Game 7 of the 76ers’ Eastern Conference Semifinals loss to the Hawks in the spring of 2021, Simmons booed lustily every time he touched the ball early on.
The crowd quieted some and he produced his best all-around game of the season.
However, the crowd’s loudest reaction occurred in the fourth quarter when Simmons bricked two foul shots, ensuring free Chick-fil-A chicken for all!

Simmons started this game alongside Nicolas Claxton, something acting head coach Jacque Vaughn had yet to do, and both were effective.
