Over the weekend, rumors of Matt Patricia coming to Philly as a defensive coach started to percolate.
Both Darius Slay and Seattle Seahawks safety Quandre Diggs had a Twitter debate with Charles Woodson, who indicated Slay should still play at a high level, even if Patricia joins the coaching staff.
Diggs expressed, “Lol, all I’m gonna say is that the Eagles made Slay a captain and traded for him from the situation he was in with that coach.. So do you wanna put arguably your best defensive player/captain in that position?”
