As March Madness morphs into April, it is instructive that the Eagles have been conducting their own form:
Call if Free Agent Madness.
They lost starters C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Marcus Epps in free agency.
They signed journeyman Justin Evans, then agreed to terms with Terrell Edmunds, who had five years of starting experience in Pittsburgh.
Reed Blankenship showed promise as an undrafted rookie last year, but look for the Eagles to continue scanning the market at the position.
Bottom line is that they have plenty of time.
Gardner-Johnson wasn’t acquired until the week before the season last year.
