SACK MAN HAASON REDDICK HAPPY TO BE HOME: EAGLES HAPPIER!

By Art Beitchman

The last five seasons Eagles fans have been calling for upper management to bring in linebackers to the 53-man roster; the kind of players who can tackle and rush the quarterback,

GM Howie Roseman showed he has finally listened when he signed Haason Reddick, 6-1, 240-pound pass rusher who should bolster big time the Birds pass rush and run-stopping abilities this season.

Reddick (above with Jordan Mailata), a standout from Temple who played his whole college career on Linc gridiron, was No. 1 draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2017 — two years ago he recorded 12 1/2 sacks for the Cardinals, last year playing for the Panthers he sacked the QB 11 times.

The Camden N.J. native is thrilled to play for the team he rooted for growing up, and the 3-year $45 million contract should be all the incentive for this skilled LB to pick up where he left off before becoming a prized free agent the Eagles brought in to fortify their linebacking corps.
