Bull-rushing LeGarrette Blount was back at practice yesterday for the Eagles.
“It felt good,” Blount said after practice. “Being away from the guys for a little bit, you miss them so it was good to get back out. I was handling some personal stuff. It was family related.”
When asked about his role with the Eagles, Blount was unsure:
“I am still not 100 percent sure. We will have to get into games,” Blount explained. “I see myself as an 18 – 20 carry back in any offense. I am excited about having opened a lot of doors that haven’t been open. They aren’t just putting me in a box of my own. I am excited about getting out there?”
Blount said he kept in touch with RB coach Duce Staley and Pederson while he was gone.
