It took six games for the Boston Celtics to dispose of the Atlanta Hawks last night, so the 76ers-Celtics matchup we all knew was coming is here, game 1 in Boston Monday 7:30/TNT.
The Sixers 9-day layoff after sweeping the Nets might be a concern, but only for the 1st quarter or so.
Having 9 days off for Joel Embiid to heal his sprained knee was literally what the doctor ordered.
This is the best top to bottom club the Sixers have had for a deep playoff run in the Embiid era.
They need to keep the Celtics big 3 of Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown from running wild with solid defensive play this whole series.
Nothing else will replace that strategy to move on the the Eastern Conference Finals.
It should be great basketball with the winner having a golden opportunity to win the NBA Title.
