REID OPTIMISTIC: CHIEFS JUJU AND TONEY WILL PLAY — HOW EFFECTIVE?

By Sarah Paley

Chiefs coach Andy Reid was optimistic that wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) would be able to play in Super Bowl LVII.

“He’s in the good place,” Reid told reporters about Smith-Schuster.

“The main thing is letting that thing calm down. We’ll just see where it goes.”

Reid added that Toney was “close” and that Toney participated in a walkthrough Thursday.
