Ranger Suárez yielded one run over 1 2/3 innings on Wednesday for Venezuela in an exhibition start against the Astros.
Suárez faced just 10 batters as he continues his ramp up towards Opening Day. He finished with three strikeouts and also issued a pair of walks. The 27-year-old southpaw made a career-high 29 starts last year for the Phillies.
