RANGER SHOWS METS THE THUMB: 6 K’S IN HIS 10TH WIN, WATCH!

By Steve Kelly

Ranger Suárez struck out six and and gave up two runs over 5 2/3 innings in a win over the Mets.

Suárez got a big assist from Orion Kerkering, who came on to strike out Mets star Francisco Lindor and strand a pair of inherited runners.

The 28-year-old southpaw has been masterful this season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in 12 of his 13 starts.

He’ll bring a microscopic 1.81 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 85/17 K/BB ratio across 79 2/3 innings (13 starts) into a road outing on Friday against the Orioles.
