RANGER GOOD TO GO FOR PHILS AGAINST METS SATURDAY IN LONDON!

By Art Beitchman

The Phillies flew into London for a 2-game set with the Mets, riding high off a sweep of the division-leading Brewers.

That also temporarily quieted the critics saying they are getting fat beating losing teams.

Not so!

Ranger Suarez will take the ball Saturday against New York.

It is amazing that he will not miss a start after getting hit hard on his left pitching hand on June 1.

Treatment to get the swelling down will allow the Phillies’ crafty 9-game winner to go after his 10th win of the season at 1 pm on FOX.

Former Met Taijuan Walker will take the hill in game 2 Sunday at 10 am on ESPN before the Phils fly back to take on the Red Sox in Boston.
