PHILS WHEELER PASSED OVER FOR ALL START START BY NATS SCHERZER!

The Nats Max Scherzer has been named the National League’s starting pitcher over the Phils Zack Wheeler for the 2021 MLB All-Star Game at Coors Field tomorrow night.

Scherzer draws the starting assignment after recording a 2.66 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 134/22 K/BB ratio across 98 innings (17 starts) this season.

The 36-year-old righty will be making his eighth All-Star Game appearance and third start in the Midsummer Classic.
