The Phillies’ game tonight against the New York Yankees has been postponed after a COVID-19 outbreak over the weekend at Citizens Bank Park involving the Miami Marlins.
No announcement has yet been made about rescheduling the game later in this season.
ESPN is reporting that before the Phillies-Yankees game was postponed, the Yankees were informed that the visitors’ clubhouse had been completely fumigated several times.
The Yankees also brought their own clubhouse personnel down from New York City to work the game, but those actions don’t appear to be enough.
