The Phillies signed 1B Josh Ockimey to a minor league contract.
The 26-year-old has yet to appear in the majors and slashed .225/.358/.416 with 15 homers over 98 games with Boston’s Triple-A affiliate last year.
He’ll give the Phils some extra depth at first base.
