Rookie Phillies outfielder Adam Haseley has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right groin strain.
The move is retroactive to Thursday, meaning he is eligible to be activated as early as June 16.
Haseley made his big league debut Tuesday in San Diego after McCutchen suffered a season-ending injury with a torn ACL in his left knee on Monday
Haseley picked up the first hit, walk, RBI and runs scored of his career Wednesday.
