Ranger Suárez (elbow) hurled two scoreless innings on Thursday in a minor league rehab start for Double-A Reading.
Suárez recorded one strikeout and one walk, needing 27 pitches (17 strikes) to complete two innings.
The 27-year-old lefty is working his way back from a left elbow strain and is expected to require a couple more minor league outings to continue building up his pitch count and stamina.
