Ranger Suárez (elbow) is scheduled to throw 35-40 pitches in a simulated game on Saturday.
Suárez faced hitters earlier this week on Tuesday, throwing roughly 20-25 pitches in a simulated game.
He’s been out since late March due to a left elbow strain.
The Phillies haven’t made a decision yet regarding when he’ll begin a minor league rehab assignment.
