Ranger Suárez (back) threw a bullpen session before last night’s game and is likely to be activated off the IL to start Saturday against the Marlins, Phils manager Rob Thomson said.
Ranger Suarez was placed on the 15-day IL with a low back spasm. Phillies down 2 members of their rotation in Suarez and Zach Eflin.
