PHILS ONLY TEAM ABOVE .700, HARPER PROJECTS TO 40 HR’S, 125 RBI!

By Art Beitchman

After a torrid month of winning baseball games night in and night out, the Phillies finally lost a series to the Colorado Rockies, dropping 2 of 3.

Most surprisingly, Ranger Suarez lost his first game of the year after winning nine straight.

It was inevitable but tough to see.

Not to fret Phils fans:

They still possess the best record in baseball at 38-16 with a winning percentage of .708, the only team playing 700 ball in the Majors.

They also remain 6 games ahead of the Atlanta Braves in the NL East.

The good news is Bryce Harper is heating up with 13 HR’s and 41 RBI’s, on pace for a monster year with 40 HRs, 125 RBI’s.

They travel to San Francisco for a 3-game set versus the Giants today at 5:05pm.
