Phils first baseman Rhys Hoskins fielded ground balls and took batting practice before last night’s game in San Diego, and he may return tonight.
As of Aug. 19, Hoskins was not running at 100%, and he still felt some discomfort in his groin.
He said he expects to play through some pain the rest of the season.
Hoskins received a cortisone injection on Aug. 13.
