The Phillies magical season of winning baseball games in every way possible continued last night with a 9th-inning walk-off win 4-3 over the San Diego Padres, who they’ve beaten 5 straight times this year!

With the return of shortstop Trea Turner this week, the Phils lineup is solid once again.

Right fielder Nick Castellanos, batting 7th last night, went 4-5.

He’s suddenly hot, and he delivered bigtime with the game-winning double down the right field line.

Casty getting hot is huge as he’s starting to get his good share of hits the last number of games, bolstering an already potent lineup.

Ranger Suarez takes the hill this afternoon for the 3-game sweep over the Padres.

In Suarez’s last start, Friday in Baltimore against the Orioles, he allowed six hits and one run in 6 2/3 innings. He said that pitching on the road was kind of like a home game.

“We see the fans that follow us on the road,” Suarez said.

“To see fans everywhere that you play at, it’s really important.”

Suarez is 3-0 with a 2.16 ERA in six career games with three starts against the Padres.
