Phillies declined their $17 million club option on infielder Jean Segura for 2023.
He’ll get a $1 million buyout instead and hit the free agent market.
Segura slashed .277/.336/.387 slash line across 387 regular-season plate appearances in 2022.
The 32-year-old infielder also batted just .214 with a .500 OPS in 61 postseason plate appearances.
