By Sam Bush

Thanks to going 14-for-23 (.609) with three homers, six doubles, eight RBIs and a 1.904 OPS in six games, Phils DH Bryce Harper was chosen NL Player of the Week.

On the season, the reigning NL MVP is batting .305/.361/.634 with 24 extra-base hits (nine homers, 14 doubles and a triple), the most in the Majors.

This marks Harper’s seventh career NL Player of the Week Award, but it is his first since Sept. 8, 2018, back in his final season with the Nationals. He’s the first Phillie to capture the award since Jay Bruce on June 8, 2019.
