The Phillies placed outfielder Nick Castellanos on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain.
Castellanos suffered the injury on Friday against the Giants. He underwent an MRI exam on Saturday to determine the severity of the injury — the results of which are not yet known.
Either way, he’ll be sidelined for at least a couple of weeks while recovering.
Dalton Guthrie had his contract selected from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to replace Castellanos on the active roster.
