PHILS BRYCE HARPER SHOWS MUTTS WHO’S BOSS: 3-4 AND A JACK!

By Jack Ryan

Bryce Harper went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in the London Series opener, leading the Phillies to a 7-2 victory over the division-rival Mets.

Harper predictably stole the spotlight during Saturday’s highly-anticipated London Series opener, becoming the first Phillies batter to record a hit in England with a first-inning double before taking Mets starter Sean Manaea deep to right field a couple innings later for his 15th round-tripper of the season.

He ended up with three hits, falling just a triple shy of hitting for the cycle.
