By Sam Bush

Alec Bohm went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer in the Phillies’ win over the Padres.

Bohm gave the Phils a six-run lead with a fifth-inning blast off Padres starter Randy Vásquez.

It was his seventh long ball of the year and just the second time he’s gone deep since the start of the month.

The 27-year-old corner infielder is in the midst of the best season of his career so far with an .848 OPS through 70 games.
