The Phillies are sending out Spencer Howard (0-1) this afternoon for his third start since replacing Chase Anderson in the rotation.
He has a 3.86 ERA in his first two starts.
Vladimir Gutierrez (0-1) goes for the Reds. In his big league debut Friday, Gutierrez allowed just two hits and one run over five innings in a 1-0 loss to the Cubs.
