Phils closer José Alvarado (elbow) is scheduled to throw another bullpen session on Saturday.
Alvarado should progress to facing hitters next week in a live batting practice session before being cleared for a minor league rehab assignment.
The hard-throwing 28-year-old closer has been on the shelf since early May due to left elbow inflammation. Barring any setbacks, he should be ready to return sometime in early June.
