Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philly is reporting that Phillies ace Zack Wheeler experienced shoulder soreness during his throwing program in December.
The Phillies maintain that there is no injury, but that Wheeler is unlikely to be ready for Opening Day.
The right-hander posted a 2.78 ERA and 1.01 WHIP over 32 starts last season.
