There was a lot of hype about the Phillies heading into the 2019 season after they landed perhaps the biggest free agent on the market in Bryce Harper.
They battled a myriad of injuries and struggled to find their footing all year.
The Phillies brought in shortstop Didi Gregorius through free agency to help bolster the middle of their infield, with Jean Segura moving to second base, and Zack Wheeler was added to a rotation led by ace Aaron Nola. If this team can jell in 2020, they can be a true World Series contender.
