Wilt Chamberlain, who prepped at Philly’s Overbrook High before playing for our own Warriors and then the Sixers, was ESPN’s pick for the Fab Five. He was drafted by Warriors’ owner Eddie Gottlieb and started playing in Philly after a college career at Kansas and a year with the Harlem Globetrotters.
Others in the group include Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, so Wilt is in pretty good company!
