PHILLIES BALKING AT 5 YEARS FOR LEFTY DALLAS KEUCHEL!

According to MLB.com, the Phils are interested in 2015 American League Cy Young winner Dallas Keuchel:

But the Phillies are reportedly unwilling to go to a fifth year in a potential deal for the lefty.

They were also in on free-agent lefty Patrick Corbin, but it was reportedly unwilling to go to a sixth year and he ultimately signed with the Nationals for six years and $140 million.

Keuchel has a better long-term track record than Corbin as he has posted three 200-plus inning seasons, a Cy Young award and three years of sub-3.00 ERAs. He has also stayed relatively healthy.
