PENN STATE ROAD WARRIORS BEWARE: CONSTRUCTION ON RT. 322!

By Michael Bennett

If you’re a member of Nit Nation driving to tomorrow’s Penn State-Akron noon game at Beaver Stadium, PennDOT has some bad news for you:

For the next six weeks, Rt. 322 road construction both ways in the area of Seven Mountains and Potters Mills Gap is expected to slow traffic even more than usual on a football weekend.

The affected area stretches from the Mifflin County line to Decker Valley Road in Centre County.

Traffic is restricted to a single lane in each direction in the work zone, with construction expected to continue through mid-October.

The Beaver Stadium parking lots will open tomorrow at 7 a.m. and the stadium ticket office, near Gate E, will open at 8 a.m. Stadium gates will open at 10 a.m. and fans are encouraged to arrive early.
