Penn State has been stuck on five wins for what seems like forever.

Losses to Iowa, Illinois and Ohio State have left the Nits 5-3 and anxious to win again.

Which brings them to Maryland’s Byrd Stadium tomorrow, where James Franklin’s team is a 9 1/2-point fave over the 5-3 Terps.

The Terps, led by dynamic QB Taulia Tagovailoa and his endless run of receivers, caught the Lions in a similar distraught mood last year and blitzed them early. They won going away.

As long as Penn State Qb Sean Clifford keeps healing and progressing, Penn State should be able to put up plenty of points in Byrd Stadium.
