Wells Fargo Center employees will continue to be paid for games missed during the suspension of NBA and NHL games.
At Sixers and Flyers games, approximately 1,000 employees are paid hourly wages, per game, including ticket-takers, ushers, security staff, and technical staff.
The Wells Fargo Center along with the Flyers and the Philadelphia Wings are owned by Comcast Spectacor, a division of Comcast. The
Sixers managing partners Josh Harris and David Blitzer have committed to paying their hourly and game night staff for postponed basketball games, according to a team official.
Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, which owns the New Jersey Devils in addition to the Sixers, also made the same pledge for staff at the Prudential Center in Newark. HBSE owns the Prudential Center.
