PARX CASINO MARKS BLACK HISTORY MONTH WITH A WEEK OF EVENTS

Parx Casino is marking Black History month by hosting a week of celebration of significant African American institutions ~ Bucks County African American Museum, UNCF, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and the African American Chamber of Commerce of Philadelphia.

“This week of celebration is just a small gesture of appreciation and admiration for these wonderful organizations in our community. Our continual commitment to diversity and inclusion is paramount to Parx and our team is excited for this week,” said Ron Davis, director of diversity and community development (above).

Beginning Wednesday with the Bucks County African American Museum and continuing on Thursday with UNCF, Cheyney and Lincoln Universities and the African American Chamber of Commerce of Philadelphia and Friday ~ each organization will be educating Parx Team members about their companies’ missions from 11am to 1pm culminating with check presentations by Parx execs.
