NOVA’S 7-MAN ROTATION MAY KEEP THEM FROM DEEP MADNESS RUN

By Harvey Hoffman

Villanova tips off today against Delaware as the No. 6-ranked team in the nation, according to the AP.

And Jay Wright’s bunch may not be as deep as it needs to be to make a deep run in this Madness.

That’s what Tom Gable of the Borgata’s sports book thinks:

Villanova is a very, very complete team and they’re efficient on offense.

I think they’re the best foul-shooting team in the country. That’s a big deal come tournament time.

The thing I worry about with Villanova is head coach Jay Wright plays six or seven guys every game and that’s it.

He has a very tight rotation and I worry about fatigue, especially as they get into the latter stages of the tournament.
