Georgetown’s Terrell Allen’s shot at the buzzer missed as Villanova ended on a 5-0 run.

Villanova opened up on a 14-0 run and led by as many as 17 points before taking a 39-30 lead into halftime. The Wildcats shot 60% from the field and made 8 of 12 shots from beyond the arc.

Georgetown opened the second half on an 11-0 run and took its first lead of the game at 41-39 on a putback dunk by Qudus Wahab with 17:25 left.
