NOLA (8-2) LIGHTS OUT THE BREWERS, LIFTS UP THE PHILS!

Aaron Nola twirled seven shutout innings in the Phils 2-0 win over the Brewers.

Nola scattered a pair of hits and recorded five strikeouts, combining with relievers Jeff Hoffman and José Alvarado on a three-hit shutout.

He has allowed two earned runs or fewer in five consecutive starts since May 14.

He’ll carry a strong 8-2 record with a 2.77 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 76/22 K/BB ratio across 84 1/3 innings (13 starts) into a road start next Thursday against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.
