The Sixers will be without All-Star center Joel Embiid tonight when they play in Minnesota due to load management — Sixers talk for a preemptive action for his left knee.
Embiid scored 39 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and had six assists in Thursday’s 123-110 home win over the Nets.
He has played four consecutive games since sitting out March 19 against Charlotte.
Embiid has played 62 games, one shy of his total last year. He is averaging 27.5 points and 13.7 rebounds.
