ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Nick Nurse is the Sixers news coach.
Nurse won the 2019 NBA title with the Toronto Raptors — knocking off the Sixers in game 7 on a excruciating four-bounce shot by Kawhi Leonard — and had a 227-163 (.582) record in five seasons with the team.
The Sixers fired Doc Rivers after they once again failed to advance past the second round of the postseason.
