NHL: PREDS OUST BLUES, DUCKS-OILERS TIED AT 3 APIECE

The Nashville Predators advanced to the Western Conference final for the first time in history with a 3-1 win against the St. Louis Blues in Game 6 of the Western Conference playoffs.

The Predators won the best-of-7 series 4-2.

Nashville improved to 8-2 in the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs and 4-0 all-time at home with an opportunity to close out a series. The Predators will play the Anaheim Ducks or Edmonton Oilers in the conference final.

Leon Draisaitl had three goals and two assists for the Oilers in a 7-1 win against the Ducks in Game 6.

The best-of-7 series is tied 3-3 with Game 7 at Anaheim on Wednesday. The Ducks have been eliminated from the past four Stanley Cup Playoffs in a Game 7 at home.

Mark Letestu had two goals and two assists, Zack Kassian and Anton Slepyshev also scored, and Cam Talbot made 34 saves for Edmonton. Connor McDavid had no points.
