NFL COOKED BOOKS ON CONCUSSIONS STUDY, NEW YORK TIMES SAYS

The question that needs to be asked now, even as the charges and countercharges fly between the Times and the league offices on Park Ave., is this: If the information had been more accurate than it was more than a decade ago, what would players and ex-players have done with that information? And how vigilant would it have made them about the damage their own sport had done to them, and the consequences of that damage?
