So much for the Dallas Cowboys’ bright idea of signing suspected girlfriend abuser Greg Hardy to bolster their defense.
The NFL has said:
Not so fast!
Cowboys defensive end Hardy has been suspended 10 games without pay for “conduct detrimental to the league,” the NFL said in a statement.
Hardy’s suspension is the result of a two-month NFL investigation following the dismissal of his domestic violence case.
The case ended with all charges being dropped after the victim, Hardy’s former girlfriend, chose not to cooperate with North Carolina authorities when Hardy was playing with the Carolina Panthers.
