MLB GAMES KEEP GETTING CANCELED: OPENING DAY NOW APRIL 14!

By Sam Bush

Major League Baseball announced Wednesday the cancellation of two additional 2022 regular season series and the postponement of Opening Day until April 14.

The first four series of the impending 2022 campaign have been eliminated as the two sides remain far apart from finalizing a new collective bargaining agreement.

Evan Drellich of The Athletic adds that the Players Union rejected MLB’s three offers on an international draft resolution Wednesday evening and presented a counterproposal to remove the draft-pick compensation moving forward with the ability to re-institute it if the two sides can’t agree to an international draft by November 15.
