This is going to fry the stones of Mikey Miss and every other asshole who still doubts that Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts can lead a successful team in the NFL:
The second-year QB was just selected as a Pro Bowl alternate!
Hurts was 4-4 as the starter with 13 touchdown passes, eight interceptions and eight rushing scores when the voting was concluded.
However, fans, coaches, and players thought enough of Hurts to mention him in the same breath as fellow alternates Matthew Stafford, Dak Prescott, Kirk Cousins and Jimmy Garoppolo, all with superior numbers in every passing category. Stafford (108.2 passer rating) was the biggest loser in the voting.
“I think the Pro Bowl obviously is a goal for a lot of players,” Hurts said virtually Thursday. “It’s a dream for me to be considered, to be voted upon by my peers. I guess starting off this way ain’t too bad. It’s a blessing. It’s cool.”
Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Kyler Murray occupy the first three spots.
