The key to an Eagles victory over the dreaded Dallas Cowboys is how much slow-to-adjust coach Doug Pederson uses rookie running back Miles Sanders.
That’s because Pederson hasn’t been using Sanders properly for most of the season.
However, it seems the team finally realizes what they have with the former Penn State standout.
Against the Washington Redskins, Sanders rushed 19 times for 122 yards and a touchdown. He also caught six receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown.
This is a game where the Eagles want to bleed the clock, which means Sanders is going to have a lot of chances to run the ball.
The more touches he gets the better the chance he breaks a big one, and he should have one or two of those in this game. All eyes are going to be on this game, and Sanders is going to have his big breakout.
The future is bright for the Eagles with Sanders as the number one back. After his performance in this game, he is going to be ready for another big game in the playoffs.
