De’Anthony Melton got the start and finished with 14 points (6-for-10 FGs), five rebounds, five assists, six steals, one block and two 3-pointers against Indiana.
Melton slid into the starting unit with James Harden sidelined, which allowed him to provide similar numbers to what he did earlier this season when Harden was out.
Before this game, Melton had 15 starts this season without Harden in the lineup and had averaged 12.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.2 steals and 2.5 triples.
He set his career-high with seven steals earlier this season, and he approached that in this game.
This was the second leg of a back-to-back, so Harden should be back in the lineup on Monday.
