With the NBA season winding down to a few games, the Sixers beat down the Indiana Pacers with a barrage of 3-balls, a franchise-record 23, winning 131-122.
All-Star center Joel Embiid had it going all night, feasting on the Pacers for 45 points, and grabbing the NBA scoring lead with a 30.4 ppg average with 3 games remaining, on the road at Toronto, finishing off with Pacers, Pistons at home over the weekend.
Guard Tyrese Maxey also drained 30 points on 8-11 shooting from 3-point land, the much-maligned bench chipped in 28 points off the pine.

The bench has lately been getting better, and it’s a key for playoff success when the postseason starts just around the corner in mid-April.
